Hi Everyone:
The SunTrust Bank Our Checking Your Cause program has been
extended to June 30th. This is a very easy way that GAR can raise $100 per
family. To get started you would need to open a new personal or business
checking account and make a purchase with your new Visa check card.
I went by the SunTrust branch on North Main Street during my lunch hour and
opened a new account. I used my Visa check card and filled in the
redemption form. I recieved an e-mail from SunTrust that my account
had qualified GAR to recieve the $100 donation. Last week GAR recieved a
check from SunTrust for $300. It was for my account and two others.
There are over 60 families in the GAR High School and Middle School group.
If each family will participate, we can raise $6,000 !!!
This is about half the cost of a new boat. So please follow up on this if
you possibly can.
Requirements:
To qualify for SunTrust to donate $100 to Gainesville Area Rowing, you must:
- Open a new SunTrust Personal or Business Checking account.
- Accept and make any purchase with your new SunTrust Visa Check Card.
- Complete and submit a redemption form by June 30, 2008.
- Account must be open and in good standing until SunTrust sends you an
e-mail telling you that you qualified for the incentive. After that you can
close the account after that if you wish.
- Offer valid for U.S. residents with a U.S. address (or a U.S.-based
business for business checking accounts).
- Offer is limited to one donation per personal household.
- Offer subject to withdrawal at any time.
Those of you that were at the GAR January Booster meeting were introduced to
the SunTrust
Our Checking Your Cause program by Milan Savic.
Milan is a Service Representative at the SunTrust branch on North Main
Street. Because Milan receives incentives for bringing in new accounts,
please open your account with Milan at the North Main branch if it is
convenient. If you have any questions, please write to me at
alicer@gator.net or Milan at
milan.savic@suntrust..com or call him
at 352-374-5542.
Thanks and Go GAR!
